I Have Achieved These Goals:
IMPROVING OUR TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE
I've continued to lobby the State of California and the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments (SBCAG) to help secure funding to:
- Finish the widening of the freeway from Fairview Avenue to at least the Glenn Annie/Storke Rd. overpass.
- Build the two proposed local overpasses/underpasses.
The City of Goleta now has a representative on the Metropolitan Transit District Board of Directors.

I supported increased bus service (lines #6 & #11).

I supported the re-routing of the Old Town Shuttle to better accomdate residents needing access from Maravilla to Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital and surrounding medical offices.

The investigation of an electric trolley system (for travel from Old Town to UCSB to The Market Place and back to Old Town) which could help alleviate some of the worst traffic congestion while cutting down on pollution.
