I Have Achieved These Goals:

Improved Bicycle Paths

During the discussion of the San Jose Creek Project in "Old Town", it was determined that the Hollister Bridge must be replaced. The San Jose Creek Bike Path Project originally was to cross Hollister Avenue.

I was able to obtain Council's support to direct staff to provide for a Bicycle Path that would go under the new bridge as part of the "bridge and creek project".

I have also supported the Hollister Ave Redesign Project in "Old Town" to provide for bicycle safety between Kellogg Ave and Fairview Ave.

This is just the begining of my support to improve bicycle paths in Goleta.
